Neetika Thapan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the Co-founder and Clinical Director at Project I. With extensive experience in both the U.S. and India, Neetika brings a global perspective to vocational training and inclusive education for neurodiverse adolescents and young adults.
Her journey in the field began in the United States, where she trained and worked as a special educator and behavior analyst. Over the years, her focus has evolved toward designing community-based, pre-vocational, and digital literacy programs that prepare neurodiverse individuals for independent living and employment. In India, she has led the development of both in-person and virtual vocational programs across multiple centers in Delhi-NCR.
Neetika is particularly passionate about creating structured, emotionally supportive spaces for teens and young adults navigating the transition into adulthood. Her work integrates emotional regulation, individual profiling and self-advocacy coaching, all delivered through real-world, hands-on learning formats.
She has presented her work at both national and international platforms including the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID) and the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA). Her leadership continues to influence the way vocational and community-readiness programs are designed and delivered across settings.
Beyond her clinical and leadership roles, Neetika is also an active mentor for aspiring behavior analysts and a consultant in the field of developmental disabilities. When she’s not working, you’ll find her baking, hula-hooping, or expanding her ever-growing stationery collection.
